Northeast Pediatrics provides a full range of health services for young international travelers. We offer pre-travel fitness evaluations and individually tailored advice regarding specific health risks and ways to minimize such risks while traveling. We provide a full range of immunizations recommended for travelers and offer expert advice in prophylaxis against malaria. We also perform specialized evaluation of illnesses that may have occurred during or after travel overseas. Dr. Snedeker is both board-certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and has special training and expertise in this area.
If you are interested in a pre-travel consultation, please be sure to schedule the visit at least 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure, in order to allow adequate time for pre-travel immunizations and a thorough evaluation of any medical conditions (for example, asthma, allergies or orthopedic problems) that may create additional risks while traveling.
